Normal Stickers

  1. Design the sticker

    1. Typically best to design it in a drawing app or somewhere else and upload it to the Cricut Design Space Canvas

  2. Open an app like Adobe Photoshop and open a page in size 8.5”x11”, make sure it’s transparent

    1. Put as many stickers as you can fit onto the page

      1. If you want them to have an outline, go to the bottom of the right side of the page and click the “fx” button

      2. After, select “stroke” and then double check that the settings are right (outside instead of inside)

      3. Adjust the size of the outline as needed

    2. Save the page, and print it out on the bypass tray

      1. To do this, go to printer settings and select “printer options” (on Mac, “Preferences” on Windows), then “Printer Feed”, and change “Auto” to “Bypass Tray.”

    3. After, turn the stickers white and save the image

  3. Put the sticker paper into the printer in the bypass tray

    1. The bypass tray is on the right side of the printer; it’s a “ledge” on the side

    2. When sticking paper into the bypass tray, it should be flat, face down (so the side that will have the pictures printed onto it will need to be in contact with the bypass tray)

  4. Go to the printer and select “Print” on the screen (should be accompanied by an image of a printer on the bottom left side of the screen)

  5. Select “Job Status” in the bottom right corner of the screen

    1. It should show you the printer with the bypass tray turned blue. If the bypass tray isn’t blue or it’s blinking, you need to open it before printing

  6. Click the “start” button at the bottom right, NEXT to the screen (Big blue button with diamond shape and line inside)

    1. It shouldn’t take more than 5-10 seconds for the paper to pop out. When it does, close the Bypass Tray and go back to Makerspace

  7. Open Cricut Design Space and import the white stickers into a canvas

  8. Make a size 8.5”x11” box and put the white stickers on top of it

  9. Select the “Make” button in the top right corner

    1. On the left side of the screen, there will be “mat” options. Make sure you select “on mat (12”x12”)

  10. Make sure the “cut” is as far to the left side of the mat as possible, then select “cut”

  11. Put the sticker sheet onto the mat, and slide the mat into the Cricut (there are directions for this as you go along in the Cricut app)

  12. Remove the mat, and pull off the sheet. If cut correctly/”strongly,” sticker cut-outs should stick to the mat

    1. Use the spatula to gently scrape the stickers off the mat
