Multi-Player
Equipment: Quest 3 or Quest 2 (Quest 3 preferred)
Set up:
-
Turn on the headset and create a new boundary. The playspace should be standing and allow for full range of arm motion
-
Open the Library and search or scroll for The Great Experiment
-
Once found, select The Great Experiment
Gameplay:
-
Long intro before the landing screen, pull up the options menu to select to skip ahead (fastest way is to click “main menu”) if desired
-
Landing screen has multiple options. On the bottom right-hand side of the menu options, it reads “Join debate with others”. Select this option
-
A screen with the options “Join Lobby” and “Return to Main Menu” will appear. Choose “Join Lobby”
-
One player should create the lobby by putting a name in the “session name” box, and then hit the “create session” button on the bottom right side. If desired, they can choose the maximum number of players allowed and can change the session type (there are 3)
-
Other players should see the name created pop up in the box located underneath the words “available sessions”. They should select it
-
Once everyone has joined, the session creator should select “start” (located in the bottom-right side of the screen), which will bring all the players to the screen with all the delegates
-
Players can either choose a delegate or choose to spectate, but no two players can choose the same delegate
-
Players will go through the debate as if they were the delegates, with their delegates mimicking any arm-related movements they make themselves
-
Players will have a box full of text for them to read as they go through the debate as their delegate. If the text ever ends up being too long, they can scroll (as directed in controls). Then, they’ll select “finish” when they’re done reading
