Single Player

Equipment: Quest 3 or Quest 2 (Quest 3 preferred)


Set up:

  1. Turn on the headset and create a new boundary. The playspace should be standing and allow for full range of arm motion

  2. Open the App Library and search or scroll for The Great Experiment

  3. Once found, select The Great Experiment


Controls/Navigation: 

  • Trigger button to select

  • A on the right controller or X on the left controller to get the options menu (options: skip ahead, main menu, subtitles on/off, quit app, & crowd on/off) 

  • Oculus button on the right controller to re-center. 


Gameplay: 

  1. Long intro before the landing screen; pull up the options menu to select to skip ahead if desired

  2. Landing screen has multiple options. On the top right-hand side of the menu options, it reads “Meet The Delegates”. Select this option.

  3. The delegates will pop up, and pointing the controller at them will have them “light up” for the player to select from

  4. After selecting a delegate, the player can choose to listen to them (or skip ahead via the options menu) or join the debate as them

  5. Once the player selects a delegate, they will go through all three days as that delegate and will read their lines for them

    1. They can choose to skip through the day with the options menu if they get bored (can’t skip all three at once; they must enter each day to skip it)
