Through Their Eyes

Equipment: iPad


Set up: 

  1. Find a big, flat, open space

  2. Grab and open iPad

  3. Open the Through Their Eyes app


Controls/Navigation: Finger to select


Gameplay: 

  1. Opens on the "menu," which has two options: AR Map or Soldiers’ Voices Tour

  2. If the player selects the AR Map, they need to find a flat surface to place the map on, then select “Place Map”

    1. Will place a map with flags on the surface; selecting a flag will take them to that location to view what it was like during the Civil War (Red flags show normal farmers, blue flags show battles). To exit 360 video, the player needs to select the “Exit” button at the upper right corner

  3. Turn the iPad around to see different angles of the area/video

  4. Soldiers’ Voices Tour should only be selected if travelling with an iPad and can place themselves in the actual locations
